You know as much as I do how many dogs are abandoned everyday behind sanctuary gates in the middle of the night. And what is being done about it?? Nothing!! So where is the law? Nowhere!! Dear Ms Shepherd, I wonder whether the authorities will understand our plight in 4 years time. Remember our animals don't have votes, so they don't count. In this country I believe it would rather be another 50 years before the authorities will start to understand that animals have rights too. Yes dear Mark, maybe there is a law but what is the point of it if it’s never being implemented?

You know as much as I do how many dogs are abandoned everyday behind sanctuary gates in the middle of the night. And what is being done about it?? Nothing!! So where is the law? Nowhere!!

Dear Ms Shepherd, I wonder whether the authorities will understand our plight in 4 years time. Remember our animals don’t have votes, so they don’t count. In this country I believe it would rather be another 50 years before the authorities will start to understand that animals have rights too.
